Barrie Jenkins became my Facebook friend after I became astounded by his physical similarity to actor George Clooney.
As you can see from the picture to the left these men look remarkable alike, Barrie is the one to the right.
You can tell the difference between these two remarkably handsome men only because Barrie's eyes are set a tiny bit closer together. Other than that they are identical.
Barrie frequently works as a double for George, sometimes as a stunt double but more often as a stand in. Barrie has made ALOT of money from his physical similarity to this celebrity.
Truth be told, Barrie is something of a celebrity in his own right. However he is always very modest about it and will play it down if asked.
Over the years I have sometimes taken exception to how Barrie has taken advantage of his movie star good looks. Though he never tells young starlets that he is the real George Clooney, he sometimes doesn't dissuade them of the belief.
Though this leads to Barrie having a remarkable love life, I think it is somewhat unfair. I have chastised my friend for this ethical lapse, but I am not certain he had taken my admonishment to heart.
He believes, and he may be right, that I am just jealous.

Could I just say that with a little more effort on your part you could have projected your acting career further, You played a small but pivotal role in the 1981 BBC tv series The Day of the Triffids as “Red-Haired Man, a street gang leader. A role in which your method acting technique shone through, Marlon would have been pleased at his pupil’s style but Academia called and you walked away from the floodlights.
